
ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2010, at 5:46 pm detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division of the LOndon Police Service attended an address in the south end of the city to arrest the man allegedly responsible for the robbery at RBC in White Oaks Mall on January 29, 2010. The suspect began to yell at the officers, waved a knife around and refused to exit the residence.
After negotiations with the suspect he surrendered to London Police. No one was injured.
Daniel Hosie, 26 years old of London, is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and with robbery. Previous Release:
On Friday, January 29, 2010, at approximately 12:47 pm a lone man entered the RBC at White Oaks Mall located at 1105 Wellington Road South and passed a note to the teller demanding money.
No weapon was seen.
The suspect obtained a quantity of cash and fled out of the mall towards Wellington Road South. No one in the bank was injured.
Police are looking for a suspect described as:
White male in his early 20s, 5'5"- 6'0", slim build, sandy brown hair wearing a black-hooded jacket, dark jeans and white running shoes.
Two of the suspects brandished knives and money was demanded from the three male occupants (in their late 20s).
The suspects obtained a quantity of property and fled. The victims were not injured. One of the suspects was known to one of the victims.
At 10:24 pm the known suspect turned himself into the London Police Service.
Abdullatif Atieh, 19 years old of London, is charged with robbery and possession of a knife for the purpose of committing an offence.
