    Two Londoners charged after drug bust on Waterloo Street

    ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2010, at 9:25 pm the London Police Service Guns-and-Drugs Section executed a search warrant at a residence on Waterloo Street.

    Police seized 487 grams of cocaine ($48,700), 465 grams of marijuana ($4,650), $3,514.30 in Canadian currency and $170 in US currency. A 2005 black Chrysler 300 was also seized as offence related property.

    Scott Fitzgerald McManus, 27 years old of London and Megan Lee Chapman 22 years old of London, are charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking.

    Scott Fitzgerald McManus is additionally charged with two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.

    Two thugs assault a girl and her dog in northeast London

    On Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 4:15 pm a 16-year-old girl was walking her dog in a green space off of Barker Street near Sussex Place when she was approached by two unknown men.

    The mens demanded money from the victim. When the victim said she did not have any money she was assaulted by one of the men and her dog was kicked by the other man.

    The suspects fled without obtaining anything. The victim received minor injuries. Police are looking for two suspects described as:

  • White male, slim build, 20-25yrs, 5'10-5'll, brown short hair, clean shaven, wearing a long black coat with fur around the hood and blue jeans and running shoes.

  • The second suspect is described as white male, 5'5-5'6, slim build, blonde short hair, clean shaven, wearing a blue sweater and blue jeans.
