Three arrested after guns-and-drugs bust on Sandford Street in northeast London
ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3, 2010, at 9:10 pm the London Police Service Guns-and-Drugs Section in partnership with the London RCMP Drug Section, executed a search warrant at an address on Sandford Street in northeast London.
Police seized in total 26.8 grams of crack cocaine ($2,680), $3,620 in Canadian currency, a “Titan Tiger” .38 special revolver (pictured left), a “Davis Industries” .380 calibre semi-automatic pistol, drug paraphernalia and a 1998 Voyager van ($3,000).
A woman was arrested inside of the residence and two men were arrested in the Voyager van in the area.
Police also seized 2.4 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. (the 2.4 grams seized from the vehicle is included in the above total of 26.8 grams of crack cocaine).
John Hebb, 45 years old of London and Adrian Ward, 23 years old of Toronto are charged jointly with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Lynn Barrett, 23 years old of London and Adrian Ward are charged jointly with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of an unlicensed person possessing a restricted weapon (revolver and pistol), two counts of possessing a firearm while knowingly not being the holder of a licence and two counts of contravening the Firearms Act relating to storage of the firearms.
Adrian Ward is additionally charged with two counts of possess firearm while prohibited.
