BREAKING NEWS: Two Londoners charged after two addresses raided and million-dollar-pot-grow-op seized
AT 5 PM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 2010, members of the London Police Service Guns-and-Drug Section in partnership with the London RCMP Drug Section, executed a search warrant at 3 Renny Crescent in White Oaks and a second at 5-962 Leathorne Street near Adelaide and Commissioners in London.
As a result, the following was seized by London Police:
1,026 marijuana plants with a street value of more than $1,000,000.
467 grams of marijuana bud, a quantity of Canadian currency and approximately $9,000 in marijuana grow equipment.
Melissa Hayes, 35 and Garry Hayes, 45 of London, are charged jointly with possession for the purpose of trafficking as well as roduction of a controlled substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
In addition, Garry Hayes is charged separately with possession for the purpose of trafficking as well as the production of a controlled substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
