A Second World War veteran, avid baseball historian and fan, member of the Friends of Labatt Park, Kareoke performer, ball room dancer and master gardener, George had an enthusiastic zest for life. Outstanding London baseball historian George Lambourn is dead at age 90

This morning I awoke from another strange dream. I was in a building that was about 3 or 4 storeys high, with what appeared to be large glass windows all around it. At first, I though maybe it was some kind of school I was in. I was holding a large water hose along with someone else, and we were both hosing down a wall inside the building to keep it from getting hot and burning. I remember the smoke wasn't too bad at first, but when it seemed to get a little worse, I decided I had to leave and get some fresh air because I started coughing. Somehow, I reached the floor level where there seemed to be some kind of smorgasboard set up. People were helping themselves to it. There was a chef there who seemed to be in charge. He looked a lot like Julian Fantino. I thought to myself, what is he doing here in charge of a smorgasboard? By this time, the threat of fire seemed to have disapeared, and it didn't look llike anyone got hurt either. Then I remember going outside of the building and taking a look back at it. At that poin, it seemed to remind me of the McCormick Building on Dundas Street somewhat, because it was a white building and had a lot of windows around it. Then the dream ended and I woke up. As I recalled the dream, I got a good chuckle out of Fantino with his chef's hat on, directing his kitchen staff.

It most likely means nothing. But maybe someone should try to keep an eye on a large, empty? building that has lots of windows.

Sounds like a fire at the old McCormick Building at Dundas Street East.

Either that or a large corporate acquisition.

Your dream sounds like you are part of the fire-prevention team Sapphire and Fantino is preparing a feast in the presence of enemies.

Sapphire, I read your dream comment yesterday in the late afternoon. A few hours later I saw on the news that 2 people died in a fire in a white house that had a rather large number of windows in the front of it. Then right after that I saw Mr. Fantino on the news reporting the loss of an OPP officer while the officer was on duty.

Perhaps you might try to fine tune your dreams a little more Sapphire. You had some hits but you were off in that the person and yourself who were hosing down a wall didn't get hurt. Whereas in reality, two people did die in a fire in a white house with a lot of windows in front.

Secondly, Fantino was speaking to reporters and obviously giving orders behind the scene, but again, it was a very serious matter, not one to chuckle about. Good try anyway.

Just for the record, it's not always easy to remember much of my dreams. Usually I only remember bits and pieces that don't make a whole lot of sense. But thanks for the tip. I'll try to make a concentrated effort and remember more when and if I can, from now on.
