Who else in the game of hockey was won the prestigious championships that Corey Perry has?
London, Ontario, resident (off season) Corey Perry has accomplished what few, if any, professional hockey players in the history of the game have accomplished.
Namely,
Won a Memorial Cup with the London Knights in 2005;
Won a gold medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship in 2005;
Won the Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007;
Won an Olympic gold medal with Team Canada (men's hockey) at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010.
So why is it that neither London's media nor the national and international media pay much attention to Corey Perry?
Can anyone out there in Nut 'n' Candyland think of any other hockey player who's accomplished what Corey Perry has, as listed above?
