Chapman's Voice of London® is a closed shop

Jim Chapman's The Voice of London won't let Londoners comment on the website ("comments closed"). Why is that? What is he afraid of? Londoners having a voice of their own?
Today on Chapman's morning radio show on Radio 98, he railed against online voting because it would make it too easy for uninformed people to vote.
Say what?
THE CHAPMAN NANNY STATE: On one hand Jimmy complains about the "nanny state" and on the other hand he suggests that voters are too stupid or irresponsible to vote online.
Or perhaps Happy McChappy® just wants people to vote the way he tells them to. That's the ticket. Democracy-in-action Jim Chapman-style!
Open the doors and windows Jimmy and let some fresh March air waft up your nostrils.
Online voting will be the norm across Canada within a decade and one day people will marvel at the thought of paper ballots in a polling booth, just as people today view snail mail and horse-drawn buggies with a sense of wonderment.
